Early Childhood Co-Teacher (Ages 2–4)

Now Hiring: Co-Teachers for 2–4-Year-Old Classroom
Location: Grace Garden Academy – A Christian Early Learning Center
Position Type: Full-Time

Grace Garden Academy is seeking two passionate and dedicated Co-Teachers to join our 2–4-year-old classroom. We are not just looking for babysitters — we’re looking for early childhood educators who are ready to engage young minds, inspire creativity, and nurture growth in a Christ-centered environment.

What You'll Do:

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans
• Foster a safe, loving, and stimulating learning environment
• Collaborate with your co-teacher and other staff to support the overall classroom experience
• Provide intentional guidance to promote emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Participate in classroom setup, cleaning, and organization as needed

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening
• Completion of the DCF 40-Hour Child Care Training
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Previous experience working with toddlers/preschoolers preferred
• A heart for children and a passion for early education in a Christian setting

Physical Expectations:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs (approximate weight of a 4-year-old)
• Active involvement during playtime, outdoor activities, and classroom transitions

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
