Cornerstone Assisted Living- West Bend WI.
Gables on the Pond Assisted Living- Random Lake WI.
Duties
- Provide compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Support clients with memory care techniques to enhance cognitive function and promote engagement.
- Assist with heavy lifting and mobility support for clients requiring physical assistance.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care progress and concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of senior care practices, memory care techniques, and medication administration is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of care plans and direct support services for individuals with disabilities.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others lead fulfilling lives.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
