Summary
As a Registered Nurse Manager in the ICU/Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Units, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing nursing operations and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position is essential in fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare professionals while upholding our vision of exceptional healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Implement and monitor compliance with healthcare policies and procedures.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes.
- Manage resources effectively, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all nursing practices.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Current RN license with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and critical care practices.
- Recent bedside patient care.
- American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire
- Associate’s degree is required
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide nursing staff.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
