What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director position at Grace Heights Health & Rehabilitation?
Grace Heights Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Marketing Director to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. In this position you will work to market the facility to area health care providers, hospitals, employees and the general public.
Duties:
o Participate in marketing Grace Heights Health and Rehab to local hospitals by developing working relationships with discharge planners, physician practices, home health agencies, etc.
o Proactively reach out to and responds to inquiries from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources
o Serve as the initial liaison with residents and families on facility services
o Assist in promoting employee engagement and recruiting
o Speak with residents or residents’ representative to obtain necessary personal and financial data to determine eligibility for admission
o Conduct tours of the skilled nursing facility/rehab area. Maintain a model room and update marketing materials for facility social media and various advertisements.
o Assign accommodations for new admissions related to nursing care needs, resident and residents’ family’s preference, availability of space, and other information.
o Ensure all admissions paperwork is completed thoroughly, accurately and on a timely basis.
o Maintain records of admissions and discharges and compile occupancy census data. Participate in meetings to alert appropriate staff members of projected admissions, room changes, and discharges
o Maintain knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid regulations to ensure services are in compliance with professional boarding standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Skilled Nursing Facility/Long Term Care experience is preferred.
- Ability to grow business in the community through relationships with medical facilities, physicians, hospitals, and other medical groups.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public.
- The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with seniors, a high degree of customer service and extensive marketing and sales experience.
