Position Summary: This position is responsible for weekly interdisciplinary group (IDG) document preparation, distribution, and post IDG follow-up. The clinical administrative support person will process verbal orders, Plans of Care (POCs), Certifications of Terminal Illness (CTIs), admission and discharge paperwork; including DocuSign, medication reviews, submission of DHS files and other similar office processes. This position also assists with intake and referral tasks as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answers phones and provides back-up to intake team
- Prepares documents for all IDG meetings and distributes post-IDG documents appropriately
- Processes all admission and discharge paperwork
- Processes all POCs, CTIs, and verbal orders
- Submits medication reviews to PBM
- Submission of client records to DHS as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, some post-secondary education preferred
- Clinical and or Hospice intake experience preferred
- Ability to type 65 words per minute
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, power point and EMR’s
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
- Demonstrates a desire to work with those at end of life, hospice knowledge.
- Ability to demonstrative positive and respectful communication/interaction skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to respect confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
