Teachers Can Expect?
- Independent control of your classroom with guidance from the Director
- A daily 9-hour shift which includes a 1-hour break (business hours are 7:15AM-5:30PM)
- Daily naptime for the children from 1:00-3:00 PM
- A weekly professional deep cleaning of your classroom

- Must have knowledge of child development , including the knowledge of how to effectively balance a budget, write reports and take photos. Excellent communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills. Trained in First Aid/BLS or CPR.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime
- 30-60 minute breaks

Duties
Teacher Duties:
- Supervise classroom and direct daily classroom activities
- Observe all rules and regulations pertaining to health, safety and education
- Work together with the director on curriculum development for your class
- Execute the planned curriculum with your students
- Supervise and interact with the children on the playground
- Assess and keep record of the developmental needs of children in your classroom
- Utilize Brightwheel to daily communicate with parents and to track your work hours
- Greet parents and children by name at drop-off and pick-up
- Communicate needs and concerns to the Director and work together to address them
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Attend required trainings and meetings
- Meet with parents as requested to discuss their child
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Requirements
Requirements for Consideration:
- Meet the basic childcare regulatory requirements
- A minimum of 2 years-experience in a professional childcare or preschool is desired
- Infant/Toddler Teachers: A 2-year degree in Early Childhood or a related field is desired
- Preschool Teachers: A 4-year degree in Early Childhood or a related field is desired
- Ability to lift and handle children safely
- Sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of best education practices for early childhood
- Knowledge of social and emotional needs of children
- Flexibility with duties and scheduling
- Ability to maintain a positive and pleasant attitude
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to be on time each and every day
- Be an example of the Christian faith in words, actions, and attitude
