We hire fun, friendly people and are currently looking to fill a first or second shift Maintenance Tech position.
Job Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written & oral).
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience in a Manufacturing setting
- Detail oriented with excellent problem-solving and research skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
- Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn how to operate, adjusts, and maintain production equipment.
- Must work well alone or on a team
- Preferred welding experience (including stainless steel)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to follow specific instructions correctly
- Must be flexible in terms of duties, overtime, Saturdays, etc. .
- Must be able to multitask
- Machining skills and pipe fitting skills preferred
- Industrial Electrical, instrumentation, and plumbing experience preferred
- Superior mechanical aptitude
Job Duties: May include but is not limited to the following tasks:
- Run and bend conduit.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Perform duties and tasks as assigned by the Process Improvement Team in a safe and timely manner.
- Offer suggestions for process improvements to the Process Improvement Team (Training/Safety/Engineering).
- Set up and keep track of preventative maintenance schedules for key production equipment.
- Help and train Production Operators on equipment upkeep and how it works.
- Test new products within current processes and share feedback.
- Provide regular updates (weekly/monthly) on process improvements, maintenance, project progress, and more.
- Share results and conclusions from tasks like experiments, efficiency tracking, and labor studies with the Process Improvement Team.
- Become the go-to expert in the production environment by learning and training across different process areas.
