Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and supporting the overall HR strategy. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources management practices, as well as proficiency in relevant software such as ADP.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with Workers Compensation regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records through efficient data entry and management systems.
- Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring new employees have a smooth transition into the company.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and assist employees with related inquiries.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to HR functions, including preparing reports and handling employee inquiries.
- Stay updated on employment labor laws to ensure organizational compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
- Familiarity with recruiting processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation regulations and FMLA requirements.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suit
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within the HR context.
