Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for new patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescription management and ketamine infusion therapy as indicated.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and response to therapy.
- Provide ongoing psychiatric care and medication management for established patients.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and medical staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.
- Certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health disorders, and prescribing psychotropic medications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to perform clinical procedures and use medical equipment.
- Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient conditions and communicate effectively.
