Grace Senior Living offers programs and activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. We are recruiting for a Lifestyle Director who will be charge of planning, coordinating, and implementing an activities program that provides our residents with meaningful and enriching activities including social, educational, recreational, and spiritual programs.
The Lifestyle Director will ensure that team members involvement in the activities program. The Lifestyle Director is part of the leadership team of the community.
Primary Responsibilities : Oversee the implementation of the activities program, develop, plan and participate in the daily and weekly programming, coordinate with dining team regarding special events, provide list of absent residents during outings, coordinate food offerings with planned events, create a monthly activities calendar that reflects the varied interests of the residents providing them with enriching opportunities. coordinate all special events, including holiday events, community resources to schedule various activities including special events, perform personalized assessments of residents interests, provide forum for residents to meet monthly and share ideas, concerns regarding activities through resident council meetings, assist with serving during dining hours when needed, carry out other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
Qualifications : a minimum of one year experience working in recreational / senior living, desire to work with seniors, strong creativity and organizational skills, clean driving record and willingness to drive company vehicle and transport residents
