What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse / Driver position at Grace Pacific LLC?
PRINCIPAL DUTIES :
- Moves material and other items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas with the use of power equipment, i.e. forklift and order-picker.
- Sorts and places material on rack, shelves or in bins according to predetermined storage assignments.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and readies orders for delivery / shipment.
- Delivers orders to customers.
- Assist with good housekeeping and maintenance within the warehouse, yard and other facilities.
- Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
- Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS :
Skills / Knowledge :
Math : Math skills to complete timesheets, inventory, and will call pick-ups.
Reading : Ability to read business forms and road maps.
Blueprint reading helpful.
Good geographical knowledge of Oahu helpful.
Computer : Computer skills helpful.
Calculator : Calculator skills helpful.
Licenses : Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience : 1 year forklift and warehouse / delivery experience preferred.
