Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves working closely with students to foster their academic growth, social skills, and emotional well-being. The Teacher will be responsible for implementing lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and behavior.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with unique needs.
- Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Promote child welfare by creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
- Change diapers, prepare and distribute meals, and provide updates to parents and teachers.
Experience
- Experience in childcare or daycare settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and special education practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- Previous experience in classroom management is beneficial for maintaining an organized learning environment.
- Knowledge of infant care including safe sleep and feeding schedules is a plus.
