Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. This role involves working closely with students to foster their academic growth, social skills, and emotional well-being. The Teacher will be responsible for implementing lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning needs.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and behavior.
  • Collaborate with special education staff to support students with unique needs.
  • Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to evaluate student learning outcomes.
  • Promote child welfare by creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
  • Change diapers, prepare and distribute meals, and provide updates to parents and teachers.

Experience

  • Experience in childcare or daycare settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and special education practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
  • Previous experience in classroom management is beneficial for maintaining an organized learning environment.
  • Knowledge of infant care including safe sleep and feeding schedules is a plus.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
