What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher Early Childhood Education position at Grace Ridge Early Learning Center?
Grace Ridge Early Learning Center is searching for a part time Assistant Lead Teacher for various classrooms ages infant-5 years. Assistant Lead Teachers will be responsible for carrying out weekly lesson plans and planning engaging activities for the children. All teachers and caregivers are also responsible for communication with parents and other teachers, ensuring continuity of care for all children. Assistant teachers will be responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of classrooms, centers, and items used daily.
- Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and shifts can vary during those times. Most part times employees work 20-25 hours per week. Most shifts available are from 2-6 pm or 1-5 pm, but there are a few morning shifts as well.
- All teachers are required to have a high school diploma or the equivalent
- All employees are required to pass a background check
- CPR and first aid certification is required but will be provided by the school after employment if you do not already have one
