Nurse - Skilled Nursing Facility
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facility. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive clinical culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident charts, including recording significant conditions and reactions.
- Notify relevant parties of changes in residents' condition and reaction to medications, treatments, and incidents.
- Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess residents' condition.
- Communicate effectively with residents' families and physicians regarding changes in behavior, medications, or health conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to modify care plans, directives, and activities of daily living (ADL) as needed.
- Provide bedside care, wound care, and other necessary nursing interventions.
Requirements:
- Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License or Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care environment.
