This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Unit Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, supervising and directing nurse staff, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
About the Job
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining and restoring health, addressing concerns from family members, and ensuring that your unit meets federal and state regulatory standards. You will also be responsible for supervising, counseling, and disciplining nurse staff, as well as developing, implementing, and adjusting patient care plans as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and restore health of residents
- Act as a main point of contact between residents and their families
- Address and prevent concerns from family members
- Develop, implement and adjust patient care plans as needed
- Supervise, counsel and provide discipline to nurse staff to ensure the highest quality care possible
- Ensure unit meets federal and state regulatory standards, as well as company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Up to date First Aid and CPR certification
- One (1) or more years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care environment preferred
- Knowledgeable of regulatory standards determined by CMS and the State of Oklahoma
