Nursing Supervisor Position
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nurse to join our team as a Nursing Supervisor at Grace Village Retirement Community. This is a middle management position responsible for supervising the nursing department during second shift, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of Grace Village
- Assist with delivering excellent care to residents by observing and assessing their needs
- Maintain quality assurance of nursing documentation and records
- Educate and train new nurses and evaluate their performance
- Make assignments of residents, duties, and breaks for nursing staff
- Supervise all nursing personnel on shift and counsel/discipline staff when necessary
- Work with the floor nurse to ensure medications and treatments are administered as ordered
Qualifications
- RN or LPN with a current Indiana license in good standing
- Current or previous long-term care experience
- Ability and desire to work second shift, Monday through Friday
