What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Supervisor position at Graceful Aging Home Care?
The In-Home Care Operations Supervisor provides direction and guidance to caregivers ensuring that all of Graceful Aging Home Care's policies and industry regulations are followed. The supervisor reports directly to the Agency Administrator.
Job Duties:
- Train newly hired staff.
- Assist with scheduling.
- Conduct new client assessments.
- Conduct caregiver performance reviews.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new caregivers.
- Provide leadership to caregivers.
- Help resolve caregivers concerns and issues.
- Cover client hours as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge of managing employees.
- Knowledge of personal care and home management skills.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal care services, including needs determinants, meeting quality standards and evaluation of client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures such as maintaining records and completing forms.
Qualifications/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CNA required.
- Minimum 5 years of home care experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience preferred but not required.
- Current driver’s license.
- Proper vehicle insurance coverage.
