**Salary Range:** $21 to $23 per hour
**Job Overview:**
Graceful Day Personal Home Care is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Respite Caregivers in Orange County. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, making a positive impact on their lives.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Demonstrate expertise in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Assess and prioritize client needs with respect and sensitivity
- Implement positive reinforcement techniques and behavior redirection strategies
- Collaborate effectively with team members
- Uphold a professional and compassionate attitude at all times
- Adapt to client needs and feedback, implementing new strategies as required
- Remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
- Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Provide instruction in independent living skills
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
