Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and nutrition management.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed.
- Support clients with social activities and community engagement.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home community care, or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established care plans and systems.
- A background in social work or related fields is advantageous but not required.
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient in all interactions with clients.
