Daycare Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
• Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with children by engaging in activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide children's actions.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
• Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, including special education techniques as needed.

Qualifications

• A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in childcare or as a daycare teacher is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and caregiving practices for infants and toddlers.
• Ability to provide first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A compassionate nature with the ability to connect with children on their level.
• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
