What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Creator position at Graceland Church?
The Content Creator at Graceland.Church is responsible for producing and managing high-quality video content and overseeing our social media presence. This role includes planning, filming, and editing videos, training camera operators for live broadcasts, developing a volunteer team for video productions, and creating and executing social media strategies to enhance engagement and outreach.
As a leader in our church, there is an expectation that you will be or become a member of Graceland Church and minister to both employees and congregants. As a staff member in our church, there is an expectation that you will minister to both employees and congregants.
Video Production
- Plan, script, film, and edit video content for services, events, and online platforms.
- Ensure proper lighting and audio quality during filming.
- Oversee the production of video content for services, events, and special
projects, including scripting, filming, and editing
Team Development
- Recruit, train, and lead volunteers to assist with video production tasks.
- Provide training and support to camera operators for live broadcasts.
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the church’s mission and values.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to audience engagement, fostering a positive online community.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to inform and adjust strategies.
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of content
- Collaborate with ministry teams to support communication needs and initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video production, including filming, lighting, and editing.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut
Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience in training and leading volunteers is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Alignment with the mission and values of Graceland.Church.
