GRACELAND PORTABLE BUILDINGS DEALERSHIP OWNER
Graceland Portable Buildings is seeking an exciting entrepreneurial owner-operator to launch and run our newest portable building dealership location in the Impact - Abilene, Texas area.
1. Oversee all day-to-day operations of the dealership including sales, marketing,
deliveries, and customer service.
2. Utilize your marketing expertise to promote Graceland portable buildings in the
local community.
3. Leverage provided CRM and website systems to manage customer leads and
orders efficiently.
4. Experience in sales, marketing, or business ownership.
5. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems.
6. Organizational and customer service skills.
This is a unique opportunity to operate your own small business with support from the highly successful Graceland Portable Buildings brand.
Graceland Portable Buildings will provide full training, marketing support, and consigned inventory. You will receive ongoing coaching and have access to our established supplier and delivery networks.
You must own or be willing to lease commercial property to operate the dealership near the Impact - Abilene area.
Requirements:
- Owns or leases land capable of holding a minimum of 10 buildings, this can be an existing business
- Proven business management experience, as a dealership, business manager, store manager, department manager, military unit leader, or similar role
- Knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
- Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Results-driven and customer-focused
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Degree or degree candidate in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or similar fields preferred, but not required
- Currently resides in Market and has land opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Direct all operational aspects which can include distribution, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in accordance with Graceland’s objectives, mission, and values
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Meet goals and metrics
- Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
- Bring out the best of dealership’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
- Share knowledge with other dealerships and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
- Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
- Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
- Maintain an adequate sales organization that is qualified to sell the products within the territory in accordance with the terms and conditions hereof:
- Dealer’s salespersons shall be required to show display buildings to customers and explain the options that are available for each particular model.
- Salespersons are responsible for determining lead time for the manufacture and delivery of new portable buildings and informing the customer.
- Salespersons must be trained and able to complete all documentation necessary for the sale or rent to own programs, including but not limited to sales sheets, order sheets and rent to own contracts. All documentation is to be emailed to the Company’s headquarters as soon as this transaction has been made and a representative of the Dealer shall be available by phone to answer any questions the Company may have regarding any such transaction.
- Provide one or more lots at Dealer's sole cost, to locate display buildings and inventory and with sufficient room for Company’s trucks to deliver and pick up portable buildings.
- Maintain all display portable buildings and inventory in the same condition as when delivered by Company to Dealer, ordinary wear and tear excepted. The portable buildings and all areas surrounding the portable buildings and Dealer's business are to be kept clean and all lawn, landscape and common areas are to be kept in a neat and orderly manner. Dealer may not use any portable building for storage.
