Technical Lead

We are seeking a Tech Lead with a strong technical foundation and proven leadership experience to drive high-impact outcomes in a fast-paced device engineering environment. This is an onsite position based in Redmond, WA, working closely with cross-functional teams, including clients and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver complex engineering projects by coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Collaborate with multiple Meta teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.
• Oversee device and prototype testing, including automation frameworks and CI/CD processes using Python.
• Provide technical leadership across firmware, hardware, and systems engineering domains.
• Independently manage tasks and guide the team without the need for supervision.
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to facilitate cross-team collaboration.
• Ensure timely and high-quality outcomes through proactive planning and execution.
• Leverage experience in camera, sensor, LED, or display testing and calibration to support hardware development efforts (preferred).
• Work onsite at Meta’s Redmond campus, engaging with hardware and engineering teams directly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• Candidates with a Computer Science background will be considered only if they have significant experience in device engineering.
• 5 years of experience in technical leadership roles, preferably within hardware/device development environments.
• Hands-on experience with device/prototype testing, Python-based automation, and DevOps (CI/CD) practices.
• Familiarity with hardware testing tools and methodologies for components such as cameras, sensors, LEDs, and displays is a strong plus.
• A driven and proactive attitude, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
