The Staffing Coordinator is an advanced professional position responsible for managing and overseeing AES (Adult Emergency Crisis and Stabilization program staffing patterns. The incumbent will also provide support for direct service staff and report to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the program administrators.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of support services/business administration experience are preferred.
- Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to learn and use other computer software.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally with, provide information to and respond to questions from managers, clients, service providers, family members, and the general public. Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships required for proper functioning.
- Demonstrates skills to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate tasks and work assignments.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provides support to direct service staff through various administrative functions and monitoring of property/building safety and needs.
- Coordinates the Adult Emergency Crisis and Stabilization program schedule, ensures adequate coverage, and maintains careful fiscal use of full-time employees, PRN employees, and overtime monitoring.
- Maintains cooperative relationships with internal and external programs and agencies.
- Aggregates and analyzes staffing data and census data. Provides daily reporting to senior management per program requirements.
- Interviews/hires prospective employees and participates in program orientation for new hires.
- Assumes administrative and supervisory duties in the supervisor’s absence.
- Performs other duties that are similar, related, or are a logical assignment to the job.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local, and company-maintained standards of compliance, ethics, and policies concerned with the administration and delivery of agency services.
- Meets deadlines, requirements, and expectations as established by the supervisor, agency, and department.
- Completes administrative functions and data entry timely and accurate.
EMPLOYMENT ENVIRONMENT AND TASKS:
- A secure facility that provides an inpatient treatment program for those experiencing a mental health emergency needing 24-hour care in a safe supportive environment.
- Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Maintains confidentiality and remains calm under stressful situations.
- Managing and organizing the continuous workflow of the unit
- Inpatient behavioral health care setting. Fast-paced team approach. Multi-tasking. Requires above-average time management skills.
