Quartz Welder

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? Graco is part of your daily life. $25-$40/hour plus $10,000 hiring bonus, DOE Section I: JOB PURPOSE Perform routine quartz welding tasks both on bench top and lathe. Section II: ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Use various quartz fabrication equipment such as lathes, hydrogen/oxygen torches, and annealing ovens to fabricate customized quartz products. • Perform cleaning, grinding, cutting and washing operations. • Follow production drawings and receive verbal and written instructions regarding duties to be performed. • Report to supervisor any conflicting information on work orders and prints. • Maintain a safe, organized and clean work area Section III: POSITION REQUIREMENTS • High School diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 5-10 years of quartz fabrication experience within a manufacturing environment, performing skilled quartz working tasks and ability to perform free-hand glasswork. • Experience with manufacturing processes and work flow. • Must be flexible with shift availability • Self-starter Physical Requirements Frequent or continuous standing Occasional crouching, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder Occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs. or greater Frequent repetitive elbow movements and simple grasping with both hands Occasional firm grasping and fine manipulation with both hands Power to Be At Graco, the Power to Be means providing the support, resources and freedom to pave your own way.
