Basic Functions
Grad Solutions is seeking a media assistant that would be responsible for supporting the media team with curriculum media content needs. The media assistant will be responsible for monitoring the pre-production needs of media development to include graphic requests, teacher scripts to teach content, and preparations for media productions as requested by curriculum manager, multimedia designer, or digital content media specialist. This role requires a combination of project management skills as well as digital media skills to successfully support the media projects and completions for curricular media designs.
The Key Performance Indicator (KPI) that measures the media assistance efficacy and success is to support the needs of the media team to keep all media requests on projected timelines. A successful media assistant would be able to provide adequate support for the media team's needs to complete 95% of all media requests to maintain projected curricula timelines.
Responsibilities
- Educational Content Design : Support the development of visually compelling educational material aligned with course content through completion of media team tasks.
- Video Design : Prepare instructional content during pre-production phase to support the development of engaging videos that effectively represent educational concepts.
- Course Content Editing : Support the project management needs for creating graphics and visuals that complement the educational content in curriculum design and development based on requests in course content.
- Online Platform Integration : Supports the integration of educational content in an online learning management system based on media needs to maintain projected timelines.
- Project Management : Supports the media team in managing multiple curriculum projects and courses to ensure all visual design content is accurate and engaging.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Video Editing Software : Adobe Creative Cloud
Style Guides and Guidelines : Project Management
Skills :
Education / Training
Degree : Bachelor's degree in graphic design, film or video production or related field.
Experience
3 years of video design and editing experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
