Sales Account Manager

Location: Brooklyn

Salary: $48,000 - $80,000 comm (depending on region)


Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to reshape the way businesses connect. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be in the field, engaging with small to medium-sized businesses to build strong relationships and offer best-in-class connectivity solutions. Your role will focus on customer retention, revenue growth, and mobile sales, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will work directly with business owners, creating tailored solutions that fit their needs, from high-speed internet and TV to mobile and voice services. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Retention & Growth: Build strong relationships with existing customers to retain business and drive revenue growth.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage with potential business customers through market research, community networking, and lead lists.
  • Sales & Upselling: Educate customers on available products and services, upsell as needed, and ensure they receive solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Product Expertise: Stay informed on the latest telecom technologies, pricing plans, and service offerings.
  • Presentation & Closing: Deliver persuasive sales presentations, address customer concerns, and negotiate agreements to close deals successfully.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary contracts, reports, and documentation accurately.
  • Post-Sales Support: Provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
  • Collaboration: Work with colleagues to develop sales strategies and meet team goals.
  • Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
  • Compliance: Follow company policies and industry regulations to ensure ethical sales practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
  • 5-8 years of field sales experience working with small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, digital tools, and technical sales solutions.
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance (if applicable).
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk in a field sales environment.
  • Full-time availability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of telecom products and services, including mobile and fixed-line solutions.
  • Digital proficiency in CRM and POS systems, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
