Cover Supervisor

Location: Norfolk

Hours: 37 hours per week, Term time plus 1 week (Perm role)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: 8:15 am – 4:15 pm (3:45 pm on Fridays) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

We are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in a specialist school with a focus on engineering, catering to students aged 14-19 with interests in Science, Computing, and Mathematics. As our student numbers grow, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Cover Supervisor to join our team and support our students in various ways.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and ensure a productive learning environment during teacher absences.
• Accompany and support students during school trips to ensure their safety and engagement.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task during lessons.
• Work closely with teachers to understand lesson objectives and support student learning.
  
  

Requirements

• Educated to Level3 (A Level, NVQIII) or above
• GCSE equivalents in English and Maths at Grade C or above
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to different classroom settings and student needs.
