Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry, particularly in fine dining and catering environments. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring that food quality and safety standards are met while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage food preparation and presentation to uphold high standards of quality.
  • Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and plan for banquet events.
  • Monitor kitchen performance, providing feedback to team members for continuous improvement.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices, including food safety regulations and inventory control.
  • Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Familiarity with catering operations and banquet service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
