Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry, particularly in fine dining and catering environments. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring that food quality and safety standards are met while fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage food preparation and presentation to uphold high standards of quality.
- Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and plan for banquet events.
- Monitor kitchen performance, providing feedback to team members for continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting.
