I have an immediate need for an in-home 2nd grade reading tutor in Raeford not far from Hoke Hospital, down the street from Engaging Life Church. The student is in 2nd grade attending Don Steed Elementary School. He needs to work with a tutor for assistance with reading.
The student needs assistance with foundational reading skills such as phonics, fluency, and basic reading comprehension. He is largely at grade level but needs extra support to make sure he isn't falling behind and that he continues to make progress. He needs some help staying focused and on task when studying.
The goals are for the student to improve his overall reading level, improve focus, and perform at grade level or better.
The family wants 1-2 hour sessions once a week, between 4pm-6pm any day Monday through Wednesday.
Job Requirements
- Tutor must be willing to work in person, face to face at the student's home in Raeford not far from Hoke Hospital, down the street from Engaging Life Church.
- Tutor must be available for 1-2 hour sessions once a week, between 4pm-6pm any day Monday through Wednesday.
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.

MON & TUE & WED 4pm-6pm
