I have an immediate need for an in-home 4th grade ELA (primarily reading) tutor in Cave Spring not far from Cave Spring Elementary School. The student is in 4th grade attending North Cross Elementary School. He needs to work with a tutor for his ELA skills with the primary focus on reading skills.
He is a smart but shy student. He's strong in math but needs to work on his ELA skills including reading and comprehension skills. He'll need support from a tutor going over homework and test prep to become a stronger and more independent reader.
The goals are for the student to improve his grades and do well on tests as well as strengthen his ELA skills.
The family wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 4pm-6pm, on Monday & Wednesday.
Job Requirements
- Tutor must be willing to work face to face at the student's home in Cave Spring not far from Cave Spring Elementary School.
- Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 4pm-6pm, on Monday & Wednesday.
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
