I have an immediate need for an in-home ESE 2nd grade reading tutor in Loretto not far from the town of Manton; just down the road from the corner of Cisselville Road and Manton Road at Hardins Creek. The family are asking for a tutor/teacher who has experience working with students with dyslexia. The student is a 2nd grader attending Washington county Elementary School. She needs to work with a tutor on reading.
The student is currently reading at a kindergarten level. Her parents are trying to get her caught up to grade level but are struggling to do so. They want a tutor to work with the student to improve her reading skills.
The goal is for the student to get caught up to grade level in reading.
Mom wants 1 hour sessions once a week, on Wednesday, between 4:30pm-6pm. Mom wants sessions to start at either 4:30 or 5:00pm.
Job Requirements
- Tutor must be willing to work in person, face to face at the student's home in Loretto not far from the town of Manton; just down the road from the corner of Cisselville Road and Manton Road at Hardins Creek.
- Tutor must have experience working with students with dyslexia.
- Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions once a week, on Wednesday, between 4:30pm-6pm. Mom wants sessions to start at either 4:30 or 5:00pm.
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
