I have an immediate need for 2-3 in-person After School bilingual (Spanish & English) K-6 tutors in Miami to work at a local Learning Center near Coral Terrace Elementary School in Miami; near the corner of Coral Way and SW 67th Avenue. The students are ESL students in elementary school and need to work with tutors as they are behind grade level.
Tutoring will be for reading/comprehension & basic math concepts for ages K-5 for ESL Title 1 school students. This will be one on one tutoring with 1 hour sessions per each student.
The goals are to see improvement in the student's and for them to be at grade level.
The Learning Center needs 2-3 tutors for 15 hours a week to work from 2:30pm-5:30pm Monday through Friday. Tutors have to be able to do full days.
Job Requirements
- Tutors must be willing to work in person, face to face at a local Learning Center near Coral Terrace Elementary School in Miami; near the corner of Coral Way and SW 67th Avenue.
- Tutors must be bilingual in Spanish & English.
- Tutors must be available for 15 hours a week to work from 2:30pm-5:30pm Monday through Friday.
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
