I have an immediate need for an in-person pilot exam tutor in Dallas to meet at the student's office in a business complex next to where Inwood Road meets Interstate 635 Service Road. The student is an adult needing assistance with test preparation for his private pilot's exam.
The student is asking for a tutor who has taken the pilot's exam.There is a math portion of the exam for which you need some basic understanding of aviation in order to assist, and the math is what he needs help on the exam with.
The student has been through his aviation training and just needs to pass the written portion of the FAA's private pilot's licensure examination.
The student's goal is to work with a tutor with aviation experience or knowledge to help him pass his test.
The student wants 1 hour sessions 3 times a week, between 9am-11am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
FAA's Private Pilot's Licensure Examination: Exam Contents:
Contents include airplane mechanics, navigation principles, aviation regulations, weather, flight planning, airport operations, flight maneuvers, and takeoffs and landings.
Job Requirements
- Tutor must be willing to work in person, face to face at the student's office in Dallas to meet at the student's office in a business complex next to where Inwood Road meets Interstate 635 Service Road.
- Tutor must have experience with the FAA's private pilot's licensure examination.
- Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 3 times a week, between 9am-11am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
