Part-Time Elementary, Middle, or High School Teacher / Tutor Wanted
Passionate about puns? Excited by equations? Love literature? Eager to help students succeed in all subjects? Burnt out on "traditional" education?
We are currently seeking a part-time teacher-tutors for a role in our learning center at GradePower Learning Largo . This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching the ins and outs of language, math, among other subjects and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.
Work optional hours 9 : 00am - 1 : 00pm Monday to Friday with our Homeschool Day Academy and then flexible hours tutoring core subjects and / or SAT / ACT in the afternoon (up to 20 hours).
Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, GradePower administration communicates with parents, and all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.
Position Requirements :
Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning work optional portions of Mon - Fri (9 : 00am - 1 : 00pm) and optional portions of after-school and evening hours Mon - Fri (3 : 00pm - 7 : 00pm). Choose the number of afternoons you work, and some Saturday morning classes may be available. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must!
Applicants with upper division math and science expertise and who scored well on the SAT / ACT will be trained to coach SAT / ACT Prep program ($20 / hour).
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
