Position Title: Project Coordinator

Job Summary: Project Coordinators play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of projects. They meticulously organize and assist in managing project budgets, schedules and details. Their responsibilities include maintaining clear communication channels with all stakeholders across different departments to ensure alignment. Additionally, Project Coordinators are responsible for organizing reporting means and methods and providing regular updates to Project Managers to facilitate informed decision-making and project oversight.
Duties and Job Functions:
· Assist to review submitted labor and equipment reports for accuracy.
· Verifying material and trucking costs.
· Cost coding tickets and project invoices.
· Scanning material and trucking tickets
· Accounts Payable invoice processing
· Assist with billing
· Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
· An ability to prepare and coordinate schedules and detailed action plans.
· Solid organizational skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Required Education and Experience:
· Previous experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the heavy civil field or other construction industry preferred.
· Proficiency in project management software, accounting ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Work Environment:
· Primarily indoors in an office setting.
· Monday through Friday schedule, may require weekend time during peak seasons.
