Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers giving them guidance, mentorship, and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and roadmaps
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines
- Identify and address technical challenges and bottlenecks in a proactive manner
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and leading engineering teams
- Strong knowledge and experience in PHP, SQL, JavaScript, and AWS
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in software development life cycle management
- Familiarity with Data Intelligence practices and tools is a plus
- Typical work environment for a professional office space with hybrid and remote peers
- Largely a stationary role with some moving from place to place
- Constant use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor and other office equipment
- Some evening and weekend work, depending upon workload
- Some overnight travel may be required for work, events, and trainings
