Gradient, a Geosyntec Company, is seeking amotivated and resourceful Mid-Level Epidemiologist who will conductepidemiology analyses for science-based evaluations with a focus on humanhealth risk. Candidate will work collaboratively with scientists in otherdisciplines (e.g., toxicologists, exposure scientists, human healthrisk assessors) and should enjoy technically challenging work for projects thatinvolve independent analyses, systematic review, weight-of-evidence evaluation,regulatory comment, litigation support, product safety assessments, and humanhealth risk assessment in the fields of dietary, pharmaco-, pesticide, occupational,consumer product, and environmental epidemiology. Candidate will have the opportunity to joinour growing practice in one of our office locations : downtown Boston, MA or Charlottesville, VA. Experience and Skills
- Conduct original analyses, cancer cluster investigations, literature reviews, meta-analyses, litigation support, regulatory comment, product safety assessments, and site-specific human health risk assessment.
- Assess epidemiology evidence with respect to chemical exposures in a variety of contexts, including products, foods, and medical applications, as well as occupational and environmental exposures.
- Conduct literature searches and critically review and evaluate epidemiology studies.
- Assist in the preparation of deliverables (reports, memoranda, proposals, agency comments, peer-reviewed journal articles, conference presentations).
- Manage small- to medium-sized projects.
