">The Restaurant Server Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Server to join our team at Graduate by Hilton New York, located on the Cornell Tech Campus on Roosevelt Island. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive and deliver guest orders and collect payment
- Pre-bus all tables removing soiled dishes after each course
- Perform cashiering functions by closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- Must be able to stand during entire shift and maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food & beverages
