Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic F&B Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high volume food & beverage operations, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency. Furthermore, they will lead the charge in cleanliness and condition of the outlet, ensuring that our space looks and operates in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and guest satisfaction.
- Work with F&B Director, Beverage Director, & Director of Programming to ensure overall success of the outlet.
- Interface with Social Media, Brand & Marketing teams to help bring visibility to the outlet.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.
- Utilize F&B systems for efficient order processing, inventory tracking, and financial reporting. Familiarity with PlateIQ, IBuy, and ProfitSword a plus.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales growth within the Outlet.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a positive work culture and high levels of employee engagement.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll management, and staffing needs to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu offerings that align with guest preferences.
- Monitor financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Assist with forecasting and budgeting along with F&B Director.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently as they occur.
- Work with F&B Director, Ownership, and Hotel to maintain overall condition of the equipment and FF&E in the outlet.
- Maintain pars on OS&E, ordering and maintaining inventory.
- Manage pool season and ensure pricing and strategy for success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry, specifically in high volume operations with over $5 mil in yearly revenue.
- F&B Manager (2 years).
- Active floor presence and interaction with guests necessary for the role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.
- Proficient in InDesign, Canva, & Adobe Products a plus.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Toast.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- A sincere interest in craft cocktails and exceptional food experiences.
- TN Alcohol Serving Permit required.
- Hotel experience a plus, but not required.
- Pool management a plus, but not required.
