What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Director - Physician - Cascade Outpatient Center position at Grady Health System?
SUMMARY
The Medical Director works closely and collaboratively with the Practice Administrator and Nurse Supervisor locally, as well as the Service Chief/VP of Ambulatory, Executive Director of Primary Care, and SVP of Operations, to ensure high quality, safe, timely, patient centered, team based patient care in accordance with the mission and vision of Grady Health System.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) is required
- Experience in Process Improvement/Quality Improvement initiatives
- Experience in management of primary care medical practice
- Licensed by the State of Georgia without restriction to practice medicine
- Board certified in a Primary Care specialty including internal medicine or family medicine.
