Summary
Nurses to be part of the Epic training team to assist with further embedding clinical workflows within the Epic training and offer unit rounding to promote standard documentation and Epic workflows, as well as consistency with Epic utilization by nurses by providing clinical rationale and demos by their peers. Reports to the Director of Clinical Informatics.
*Promote educational initiatives
*Collaboration between IT and Nursing
*Participating in the integration of technologies into clinical workflows
*Customizes training based on departmental workflows and specific challenges, improving efficiency and staff confidence.
*Independently evaluates and selects the most suitable tool based on ease of use, compatibility, and cost, ensuring better training outcomes
Required Qualifications:
*High School Diploma or GED
*Bachelor's Degree-Nursing
SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Required: Registered Nurse in State of Georgia
Required Experience:
*Three (3) or more years job related experience including clinical experience in acute care, emergency, or ambulatory areas.
Preferred Experience:
- Ability to adapt to new or changing environments; strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong Epic knowledge or department superuser
- Strong communication skills
