SUMMARY:
The Referral Coordinator is responsible for coordinating internal and external specialty care referrals for patients as requested by the primary care physician. The Referral Coordinator will also be responsible for scheduling, tracking, referral case management and providing reports. The Referral Coordinator will be professional and promote the core values and mission of Grady Health System, always exercising utmost discretion, diplomacy and tact in customer interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of college level coursework required
- Two (2) or more years job of healthcare experience required
- Bilingual (Spanish) required
- Associates degree preferred
