Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Painter to join our team at 3350 @ Alterra Apartments in Hyattsville, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of painting, drywall, and wallpapering. This includes ensuring resident satisfaction and maintaining the physical condition of the property to the highest standards.
Your Responsibilities:
- Complete painting/drywall/wallpaper projects as assigned.
- Prepare various surfaces for painting (brush, roller, and sprayer).
- Repair and/or fix drywall as needed.
- Protect community property from damage during painting by covering floors, furniture, etc.
- Ensure cleanliness of work area after project completion.
- Other general repairs as needed.
What you offer:
- Knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials for drywall, painting, and wallpaper.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for daily onsite use.
- Previous work experience in residential communities is a plus.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Basic computer skills required.
