Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Community Manager to join our team at Heather Hill Apartments in Temple Hills, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community, ensuring resident satisfaction, managing staff, and maintaining the property to the highest standards.
This position is currently eligible for quarterly nondiscretionary bonuses up to 10% of their salary, annually.
Your Responsibilities:
- Foster positive relationships with residents by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, planning events to enhance community engagement, and handling lease renewals and resident turnover changes efficiently.
- Develop and manage the community’s annual budget, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals and enhance profitability.
- Hire, train, and supervise on-site staff while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee property maintenance, including regular inspections, addressing issues promptly, and managing vendor relationships to ensure well-maintained common areas.
What you offer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
