POSITION SUMMARY
The Brake Press Operator will primarily be involved with the setup and operation of a CNC brake press for metal fabrication.

Essential Functions Statements
- Knowledge and hands-on operation and set up of CNC brake press for metal fabrication.
- Set up and operate machines as required to manufacture parts specific Graepel parts.
- Analyze work orders, parts, and blueprints.
- Check parts throughout the production run, using company supplied measuring equipment to monitor quality and repeatability of processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication process and concepts.
- Setup metal fabrication machinery and other production necessities to produce "0 defect" parts.
- Accurately complete work orders with correct quantities of good and defective parts.
- Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
- High School Degree or equivalent and/or related experience required.
Experience:
- Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required.
- Ability to read blue prints and understand functionality of parts and their components.
- Previous experience in manufacturing engineering, fabrication management and/or operations of low and mid-sized volume metal fabrication preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently.
