POSITION SUMMARY
The Production and Quality Assurance Specialist position focuses on the quality assurance processes and continuous improvement methodologies. The position involves the day-to-day operations of the Quality team which includes the quality inspection of parts, scanning new parts to meet customer specifications.

Essential Functions Statements
Knowledge and hands-on operation of Quality Assurance equipment and methodology.
- Knowledge and hands-on operation of metal fabrication machinery, especially metal forming with hydraulic presses and welding equipment.
- Inspect parts to assure they meet quality standard and expectations of the customer.
- Partner with Project Management team to ensure reliable and timely executed APQP and PPAP process.
- Ensure PPAP capability that meets or exceed all industry and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of PPAPs to customers.
- Conduct quality measurements and complete customer documentation prior to series production and delivery to customers.
- Ensure that quality capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements.
- Abide by ISO and ISO / IATF quality standards at all times.
- Collaborate with customers providing assistance and responding to inquiries.
- Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education :
High School Degree or equivalent and / or related experience required.
Experience :
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a Quality Assurance position.
Computer Skills :
Experience using MS Office Suite, 3D Modeling CAD software
