SECURITY GUARD
Graf Brothers Flooring, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of lumber and hardwood flooring. We are looking for conscientious and responsible candidates to join our security team at our headquarters in South Shore, Kentucky. Now accepting resumes. For immediate hire!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Security Officers are primarily responsible for patrolling the premises to ensure that the facility is kept safe from environmental and security risks.
- Maintain surveillance of property by performing security patrols on foot or by vehicle
- Protecting/Monitoring company property against criminal activity and damage
- Providing any needed assistance to customers, employees, or vendors
- Maintaining a clean work environment of the Guard’s office and vehicle
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in Security/Law Enforcement is preferred but not required. Retirees are welcome!
- Must be a self-motivated individual
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have a good working knowledge of security operations
- Must be available to work flexible hours, which include evenings and weekends
- Must be able to abide by all sanitation protocols
- Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Must practice good judgment, high level of integrity
- Must be proactive; take initiative with minimal supervision
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Part-Time shifts available. Shifts options are listed below and will be consistently assigned.
- Day
- Mid-Day
- Evening
- Overnight
- Weekend
- The opportunity to pick up more shifts is available if desired
