What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Maintenance Assistant position at Grafton County, NH?
Must pass drug screening and background check, have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Must be able to lift, carry and position objects of varied sizes, weighing up to 70lbs, using proper lifting techniques.
Applicants with current & relevant trade licenses or certifications will be given greater consideration for the position based on the department's need.
Full-Time, 7a-3p
Monday-Friday, includes every 7th weekend
Responsible for maintaining and repairing buildings, grounds and equipment at Grafton County Complex.
Shall be able to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance complex-wide; including but not limited to: masonry work, welding, plumbing, voice & data systems, carpentry-cabinetmaking, mechanical painting, grounds maintenance, servicing and repair of department vehicles and grounds keeping equipment. Also performs all non-licensed/certified required tasks on elevators, boilers, water/sewage/electric meters, sewage grinders & lift stations, pumps, HVAC & refrigeration equipment, commercial kitchen & laundry equipment, computerized building management systems, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, in-ground fuel tank monitoring and alarm systems, perimeter & panic alarms, electronic security systems, freon alarm systems, patient monitoring systems, patient lift apparatus, electronic hospital beds, wheelchairs ad medical equipment
