What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Grafton High School?
Reports To: Building Principal
Job Goal: To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all general clerical duties in support of the school including, but not limited to, letter correspondence, word processing, copying, filing, data entry, answering the telephone, receiving visitors, and scheduling appointments
- Manage school budget including purchase orders, accounts, and building supplies
- Maintain records for teacher and school budgets, student body funds, attendance, and other related records as needed
- Assist in managing the student database, including scheduling and building use
- Arrange and schedule substitute coverage for the school day
- Act as liaison between parents and school
- Perform such other tasks as assigned by the building principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year as established by the Grafton School Committee
EVALUATION: Annual evaluation for performance completed by Building Principal or their designee
